About This Book ~ This Descant book is intended to first glorify God, and second, to enhance your musical worship. The descants are written with the melody as the top line. Descant I is written to be more easily accessible to the average player. Descant II contains technical depth more appropiate for the professional musician. All three parts can be used simultaneously or in any combination using one, two or three Bb instruments. Several of the hymns are published in two keys to make them equally accessible to a variety of denominations.
